My dear brothers and sisters,
The shooting massacres at in Uvalde, Texas and Buffalo, New York has been disheartening for all. People’s life were taken, and the whole nation has been affected by this. It allows us to reflect on what is important in our lives for we do not know what tomorrow brings. Let us take the time today and everyday, to hug our children, to call family and friends, and say, “I love you. I care for you.” Let us reflect regularly on the blessings, God has given us. There are no words to describe, a heart filled with love and gratitude, but it does bring us peace and joy.
At the same time, I would like to take the time to congratulate Rene Haarpainter, who was ordained a transition deacon yesterday, May 28, 2022. Through God’s grace, Deacon Rene will be ordained a priest in June 2023. I ask that you please pray for him as he continues to follow the will of God.
My prayers for you this week is that you may have a heart of gratitude for all God’s blessings in your life.
May the Lord bless you and keep you close to His Sacred Heart.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
Fr. Brian
